In addition to site fieldtrips for students, the Anthropology Programme coordinates two university-wide forums. The first is the 'Friends of Anthropology' seminar series where both local and visiting international scholars are given an opportunity to present and discuss their research and work. The second is the 'Social Science and AIDS Forum',

designed to give post-graduate students from all disciplines a chance to

share their research experience with other post-grads and highlight the variety of HIV/AIDS related research being pursued at this university.
